I’m a people person . . .

which, in this line of work, has proven to be a great asset. More importantly though, I love to listen and connect with people’s experiences.

Working as a producer and storyteller allows me the opportunity to do just that, driven by my passion for uncovering and highlighting untold stories.

Before producing at NBC and StoryCorps, I earned my Master’s in Journalism from Columbia University in May 2020. I moved to New York City to better my reporting skills and represent the voices of underrepresented communities. As the education reporter in Columbia’s Uptown Radio newsroom, I was able to offer a unique voice and perspective to the stories I produced.

Before Columbia, I spent two years as a lead executive at Prepory Coaching Group, where I experienced the extremes of adaptability as a marketer, curriculum developer, and leader. My time at Prepory acquainted me well with the landscape of higher education and gave me a deep understanding of the distinct needs of students in South Florida's Latino community. I worked closely with first-generation and native Spanish-speaking students to encourage a twofold increase in acceptances to elite colleges and universities.

In my extremely rare free time, I enjoy local trivia competitions, karaoke nights, and stand-up comedy shows across the city.
